PVC Boots Are Back
Quebec City, January 18, 2008 – In 2008, Acton insufflates a fresh new wind in its collection. On the menu of this new array of products, we find, among others, the PVC boots. It is a big comeback for the PVC boots in Acton's collection after two years of absence.
Indeed, Acton collection's specialized products section is improved in 2008, thanks to the PVC boots comeback. After two years in a row not producing it, Acton is back into that market offering six different styles. The major asset of the PVC boot is their lightweight and that they are easy to take care of. Also, they are versatile, so they can be use in many different work environments (mining, oil field, farming, chemical, general construction, etc.).
The basic style Scout II, without protection or insulation, will be available in green and black and it's price will be around $30. Its twin, Scout Plus, will be insulated with a removable triple density insulation liner (and it will be associated to a -40 degrés Celcius comfort zone) et it will cost $50.
As for the safety work boots, the style Service II, with its steel toe protection and midsole plate, will be available in two colours (black or white) and it will be available for a retail price of $40. Service Plus has the same components as the Service but with the insulation of the Scout Plus. Meaning that it also has the removable triple density insulation liner that will keep your feet warm up to -40oC. Its suggested retail price has been fixed at 60$. Both Service and Service Plus are CSA approved.
Those six new styles will be available in May 2008 all over Canada through our retailers' network.
