Developed by 3M, Thinsulate™ is made of unique microfibers which imprison the air and reflects body heat twice as much as all other insulating fibers of comparable thickness. Moreover, because Thinsulate™ absorbs less than 1% of its weight in water; it preserves its insulating qualities even in moisture.
Non flammable material composed of meta-aramids recognized for their thermal resistance and strength.
High performance textiles used as high safety standards for non-metallic midsole. Non-conductive of heat, cold and electricity, it offers more flexibility, lightness and comfort.
Green triangle indicates sole puncture protection with a grade1 protective toe to withstand impacts up to 125 joules (comparable to a 22,7 Kg (50 lbs) weight dropped from 0,6m). Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force not less that 1200 newtons (270 lbs) and resist to cracking after being subjected to 1,5 milion flexes. Recommanded use for any industry where there is a hazard from nails or other sharp objects, particularly in the construction industry.
White rectangle with greek omega letter indicates outsoles that provide resistance to electric shock (18 000 volts and a leakage current not exceeding 1mA). Recommanded use for all working environments where electrical shocks can be a hazard. Warning: electric shock resistance deteriorates rapidly in a wet environment and with wear.
